I definitely feel for the dialup people!
I'm fortunate to live so close to the nearest DSL router that my speed on tests falls closer to corporate LAN. I never have a delay with GFY loading except when they are having problems with their server.

how on earth could you do webmastering with dial up ? I hate the fact that I am limited to 1.5mbs Dsl !

I think dial-up is in its final stages and soon to be extinct! The big asteroid just hit the planet of dial-up and it's only a matter of time!

I couldn't live without my dsl. Back in the day when I had dialup I couldn't buy ftp content because the isp would timeout on zips over 3megs.

i love my cable connection. the net is always on and its coveintantly added to my cable bill!
