Sony Delays U.S., Europe Launch of PSP to 2005
TOKYO/LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Sony Corp said on Thursday it would delay the U.S. and European release of an eagerly awaited handheld version of its PlayStation console until next year because it wanted more time to prepare game software. The electronics and entertainment conglomerate said the handheld video game device, PSP, would still be released in Japan this year, but some analysts also questioned that target.
