i know, i tried looking for it too, but i couldn't see a rate card or anything, i tried calculating how much it comes out to, but i have so many numbers from different sections that i can't really make it out

someone from ars should put something to explain it better

then again it only came out on monday, so you can't expect everything to be perfect right away

$5 per 1,000 impressions? What is that, $1.00 a day for most people?

Not hard at all. We currently do a few million banner impressions every day. I think i may have to throw an ARS one in there and see what happens...

hmmm I'm wondering how long it'll take before they kick out the first sigwhores... he can say it's not pay per post but the fact is the more you post the more impressions you get, simple like that.

I'm gonna try it for a few days see how it does for me

The WM Referral Program was NOT developed with "Sig Whores" in mind. ARS and WM boards will be monitoring the use and activity of those that use the per impression and per click model. If it is abused we will not allow it as a signature and if individuals make pointless posts to get views we'll terminate their ability to use the WM Referral Program. That in mind, boards will have a similar outlook. We didn't create this program to dilute the content of message boards... Our initial thoughts was to use it for Link List / TGP Submission Pages, smaller resource sites as well as larger webmaster watering holes.

With all the new changes ARS has been implementing, they are probably seeing a decrease in the number of webmasters pushing their sites. IMO, this new ARS signature campaign shows how desperate they are to recruit new webmasters and convince old webmasters that "ARS is still hot".

Its not a sig campaign LOL That is how the ppl you see here decided to promote it. We are paying CPM and per click on the webmaster referral program we have had for years. The old referral program was a flat rate.

MarcDe just doesn't seem like an honest guy, he IS an honest guy. I've been working for ARS for a bit over 2 years and have seen some pretty damn good things....more good than I ever saw when I worked as Casino Marketing Manager or Events Manager for the Rio or Sations Casino's.....those kinds of companies, your lucky if you ever hear that you've done something worth a damn, let alone see the company do anything worth a damn for any of thier customers or employees.

Yup, I work for ARS (Marc and BeckyDe), so I am biased. I am biased because of how well they treat their employees and their webmasters.

quite interesting, but I think they will be giving money away for absolutely nothing

people who make 3-4 posts per thread will be earning tons of cash for nothing...

also all webmasters get paid the same?

makes no sense to me...

Actually, let me inform the uniformed... ARS has a whole slew of new products / services to push. What better way than to use CPM marketing for branding of new products and services. If this is a 'last ditch' effort I wonder why ARS 4 Real in its 2nd day live has beaten every one of my expectations.

I know you'd love nothing more than to see our downfall and I love how you take every little pussy jab you can, but unfortunately Mr. M its not gonna happen!
