Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

WTF is wrong with sponsers?

Have been looking around for some new stuff to push and noticed something i hadnt really noticed before. Typical scenario: You signup for a sponser and upon entering their webmaster area you see that they have 25-30 different sites, various programs, etc. But for some reason they dont want to share any info about any of them! I started thinking about this and i cant recall a single major sponser who gives you even a basic synopsis of all their different sites and programs. I am talking about the most fucking basic info, like which ones have free or paid trials or not, which ones offer pay per signup or rev sharing, what is actually in the members area, etc. I mean, just basic stuff, but noooooo!!!! Evidently they think we are just supposed to already know all about them.
What the fuck is wrong with you people? You think we are all mindreaders? Or maybe its all a big secret, must be some reason why none of you want to tell us. But wait! I just need to email em and ask right? Ok, but why is this necessary? I was at the flashcash site today and saw somewhere that they have over 25,000 affiliates. Wouldnt it be a little easier to just post this basic info on the site somewhere instead of dealing with thousands of emails? Funny, i thought one of the reasons for having a website is to convey information. How silly of me to think such a common sense thing.
I still havent figured out what the difference is with all the various flyntdigital programs. I must be supposed to already know all about them because its nowhere to be found anywhere on their site. And its not just flashcash and hustler, its damn near all of them. Maybe its too much to ask for them to give us a basic description of what they have, after all, someone would have to actually sit down and type up a page with some usefull info on it! Must be a tough thing to do.
What the fuck is wrong with you people?

Regarding your complaint about why sponsors not giving to much info about there product, i think they provide enough the rest is in your traffic, second you can always grab a sales rep icq and i'm sure you will be able to get all the info from them.

I'm more annoyed when a sponsor claims "tons of promo content", sign up, and it turns out to be 2 zip sets each all of 1 model or a handful of galleries all built from the same set...

Thats true enough too. But you need basic info to even think about whether you want to consider buying. Unless you are just a fool who will buy anything. Maybe thats what they expect from us. Maybe its because more info would make comparison shopping easier, and they dont want shopping around to be easy. Thats it! Hey thanks 12clicks, you may be smarter than i always thought. Well ok thats a stretch, most likely you just got lucky. But thanks anyway!

Flashcash is brutal. They have 50 options and I don't think I ever found a TOS that just said what my different options do. I had to find an affiliate code from someone so I could ask them for help as at least they had signed up and might have a clue.

Nextations or whatever it is, I couldn't find the linking codes. So I never did send traffic.

These are just the ones off the top of my head. TCG, lets not even discuss it, and I use them lots.

I know I can be an idiot but if you are doing this full time and need to bang some shit out, I can work 14 straigh hours and a affiliate area that was at least organised is pretty important at 3 am on Sat whe I need to get some pages done.

Yeah, flashcash. Dunno why i like them. Go to their site and see if you can find out the difference between classic free and jackpot free. What the fuck does jackpot free mean? Well they assume we all know because they damn sure dont mention it anywhere, and you have to know things like that to get your linking codes. But at least with flashcash you can find banners and fpa's and such. There are some sites where you cant find anything. Just finished visiting adult.com to look at promotional material, after 30 minutes i just gave up.
I think sometimes its just a matter of these people not being able to see the forest for the trees. They are so involved with their own program they start thinking everybody knows all about it too.
