Quickbooks online anyone?
Anyone use this? Looks pretty slick for 19.99 a month.
I'm closing out 2003 and what a fucking nightmare having people in two countries, spending in 2 currencies (receiving only in dollars though) and trying to keep everything synchronized. Looks like it might be just what we need here instead of local software so people don?t have to keep syncing up. Anyone here use it and have any thoughts? Bugout |

I refuse to keep any of my critical business functions online or accessible remotely. Accounting is a very core element of business and should be stored locally and securely. I wouldn't even consider an online service.

Wouldn't really matter if we're talking a couple thousand per year or couple million. Idea being that I wouldn't feel comfortable with my accounting documents being online. Just a personal thing...

QuickBooks lets you store everything on your computer locally without attaching it to the net.
Then you can add things like sending bills online, or even storing your accounting data online. Actually you can even start with the online service only and keep all your data there. With modern day SSL Encryption and a good 20character secure password the chances of your data being stolen are minimal. Probably the same as your office being robbed. No sense in stunting your growth by resorting to paper and pen. Graph away I say! |
