I have them turned on, I check out the sites every once in a while. Some of the sigs are really funny.

On! I say if you turn them off yourself you shouldnt have a sig of your own...I have found out about many services and sponsers through sigs....sorry for you 56kers that cant load a page in a decent amount of time
