I've just found out that not only me but perhaps millions of other AOL members hadn't been notified that our monthly billing cycles were broken down into four separate billing items instead of one.

This means that people using their credit cards or debit cards are paying four times more and in two billing instances, two of the items are for around $1 when the charge for check debit or cc is sometimes more!

Gad forbid if it's an overdraft because then you're hit with 4 overdraft assessment charges.

The banks are cleaning up on this and AOL owns some of the banks. You multiple an additional $4 per member per month and you see how that adds up with 20 million members.

It's a slick way to make money.
