Well, I agree with Vittorio and I don't think it furthers his career or exploits his son exactly... but I do think it's a bad decision none the less.

Call me thick headed but I dont see it as specifically furthering his career. The show would have been done with or without including his son so it could be a questionable parenting judgement on his part, but the inclusion of his child specifically doesnt further his career.

I was the subject of a documentary film long ago. Documentaries, or 'reality" shows need a "hook". If Showtime made a series about a porno guy, it would be interesting, but NOT as interesting as portraying the lead as a "regular" guy with a son. He KNEW that and took advantage of it, putting his son "out there". That's exploitive on so many levels it bequiles ANY explanation.
