Voice recording
Voice recording
What is the best and simplest way to record your voice or a sound to put onto your pc. I have a very good mic, but it sounds poo when I plug it direct into my PC.

adjust the mic input levels?
Double click on the speaker in your system tray. |

Make sure you've got your recording settings right. Sound Recorder defaults to 8khz/8 bit mono. Change that to something else. If that doesn't help, get a better mic (most mics that come with computers suck).
Out of curiosity, what are you recording audio for? |
