My last wife was an attorney - that is a long story. The short version is don't do that!

It was fun.. but not the boat I would have picked if it had been just for me. I'd prefer some get around speed versus cruising. The boat in the pics is a 36' Carver. Fun partyboat. Seating up top for 12-15 and down below for another 10.

I would just rent a boat here and there unless you got a lot of money and dont mind the constant repairs it will require.

I am like you bradshaw....

Just show me to the water and give me a fishing rod.... I'll figure out how to catch something...

I love bass fishing, saltwater, and fishing the backcountry streams for trout.

I am planning a couple trips off baja this summer lil 3-5 day trips
maybe catch some dorado and tuna if they are running good.

But this year i plan to do some fishing in Hollywood,FL.

Last show i wasnt ableto do the fishing I wanted to.
Maybe do a day on the ocean and 1 day at one of the prominant bass lakes. Love to catch some nice florida strain largemouthes!

Why 02-22-2004 04:19 AM

http://laceymarina.com/images/Yamaha...run2_small.jpg no pics of mine, but i have a yamaha LS2000 like this one.

dual yamaha sea-doo motors, it gets it. nothing flashy, but its fun as all hell. there were no big lakes in the area of my home town. never even been on one of those big ass boats before. only the ferrys in seattle, and naval ships.

I had one. Ex got it in the divorce while I got the loan payment.. then he sold it 3 years later for about 60% of what it was worth.

And btw.. he never learned to dock it or maneuver at low speeds. I was the one that had to do that.. dealing with the twin engines and direction to move when the wheel is unresponsive.

Nothing like living off the Florida east coast intercoastal way one canal in....

We use a 17 ft fishing boat to fish inshore...we have another boat [15 ft] to be more reckless :-)))

We are located in New Syrnma Beach, Florida.

I have a 22 foot Wellcraft cuddy cabin with a 3 liter Volvo inboard/outboard. Fun day cruiser

Spent all day Saturday out on it. It was about 84 degrees....went with Daron and Brandi and we ended up anchored offshore of South Beach for a few hours, then went to Key Biscayne to eat.

I hadn't taken it out at ALL during Janruary....last time I had gone out was New Years eve.....it was about 72 degrees and we ended up anchored off of downtown Miami about 100 yards from the fireworks barge at midnight......it was a great time!:thumbsup

Janruary is about the only time that I DON'T take my boat out for the year.....since it stays in the 60s and there can be a pretty cold wind on the water.....I just can't wait until May or so, when the water gets up to 80 degrees and I'm on my boat Every weekend, and sometimes take it to resturants in the middle of the week.

South Florida=Boat Heaven!:glugglug
