Pay site Owners : CCBILL Scrubbing Hard Last couple of days?

Was doing well for about 2 weeks then all of a sudden these last 2 days have been pathetic for me, id like to hear from others if things are down with ccbill processing your transactions.

I know theres good days and bad days but this is way off the map, just curious...

discuss

don't make yourself look like an idiot

you know that something like that doesnt happen

if they would want to scrubb they would do it here and there every day

no "Hard" during the "Last couple of days"

always more bad than good!
I make much more money with the same amount of traffic to other sponsors and don't say "maybe other sponsors have better content" or crap like that, I have 15 ccbill sites merged and it sucks

doober, the day before yesterday I was absolutely blown away, I was seeing conversions at acceptable levels with CCBill sponsors, even saw ratios as low as 1:158. Numbrs we hadn't seen in several weeks with them. Yesterday, we saw a serious lack of hits (Only about 1/3 our regular volume showed) and we saw a 1:2426 ratio. The same traffic as the previous day, and the days before it. I'm personally extremely sick of it.

IPSPs are in the fraud control business. There job is to keep you and their client base as a whole under 1% without going over but stay close to that 1% so they are maximizing revenue for everyone. Sometimes they need to raise the scrub level but it should only be temporary.

i dont personally use CCBILL
all i thought of was: why would a processor fuck with his webmasters like that?

that simply makes no sence

but there seem to be real problems from what i can see posted here

but then i have to ask you why you dont switch to another processor if you are serious about their scrubbing level

Simple answer is, most affiliate programs can't afford any other solutions.

Well its becoming ridiculous for me, i mean wtf is the point is spending thousands to promote if I cant even get transactions to go through.
I have never had a day like yesterday it was the most pathetic day ever since my paysite has been online.
Ok i can buy ups and downs ect ect...but on even on my worst day i know signups will always trickle through.
I dont even think I have ever had one chargeback in the last year Besides the obvious few checks that came back with verotel and probilling ( because everyone knows how to scam the paysites with those )

So what the fuck is really going on is what I would like to know....

Like who, Ibill?
ID like to use Epoch but they are only for US webmasters

On the other hand am I get scrubbed to death because perhaps ccbill as a whole is getting close or past the 1% limit?
What about the EU 2% limit?

How do they know what accounts to scrub, or do they scrub as a whole...Id love to hear more if anyone knows.

Makes sense to me. They will loose their accounts with Visa/Mast. We have no choice but to let them manage it. Its what we would have to do if we had our own merchant accounts. You gotta hope that this is an evening out period...those that are causing the chargebacks over 1% are being dumped as I type.

Chill and know that you are being protected even if its not you that has a 1% rate you are part of the CCBill group. Your choice is to get your own merchant account. Let us know how it goes

every other day a thread like this pops up

"blah blah wut are ur conversion with ccbill last few days"

STFU!

My main sponsors are with ccbill, there are good and there are bad days, but it always averages out end of the month

I have never had problems with ccbill for my paysites. This past week was the worst for me in the history of all my sites. The ones that usually have hourly signups didn't, no Rebills either.... and long time customer expirations..which was strange. Sunday - Wednesday was the worst. I called them Wed , did test signups you name it. They claimed no problems. Then after the call, everything went back to normal for most of the sites and signups back up. I'm keeping my mouth shut now because it's back on the rise, but like I say, I've never seen drops like I saw this week for signups and rebills....very strange and the same for all my sites.

And I've never had any Visa chargebacks(knock on wood) only thing I get is bounced checks which sucks big time.....

have 32 paysites on ccbill, with other processors, and have used ccbill since 1997.

this month has been worst for ccbill in 7 years. usually sales are VERY steady. traffic is down a little due to world-wide virus problems and google problems, but ccbill sales are all over the map.

like they have a big rheostat in the office and look at their aggregate chargeback level across all sites, and turn the scrub-a-matic up or down depending on what they need to stay within guidelines.

maybe that's not what's happening, but that's what the numbers look like on this end.

A couple of days ago someone wrote of ccbill being the next to go -
Farcical - But - And a big but - Can one or two errant large programmes being well over limit cause ccbill to do a blanket hard scrub for a few days to bring their total cb's back in line?
Just a thought..

I don't in any way think CCBill is anything less than solid.

However there is a rumour going around now that one of the last few banks doing adult acquiring has given notice that they are getting out. It's a curious coincidence that this rumour comes up and we have Verotel possibly not doing real time processing right now, a big Ibill processor maintenance outage on Monday and Hooper's half baked CCBill accusation.
