I also liked American Beauty....however...I couldn't stand
AI wish I would have walked out on that one. And I know a lot of people will disagree with me...but I think the American Pie movies...although funny...were way over-rated. Too much hype before-hand leads to a let down if you don't find it side-splitting. Also hated The Hulk.

Pirates of the Carribean. Depp was great, but no better than a Keith Richards interview and the rest of the movie was Disney-schlock.

I gotta agree with you about American Pie... It was like all the funny parts were in the commercials. Skip the movie watch the teasers~

American Beauty (sorry, I watch too many teen porn videos, so it didn't have the same effect on me ;-)) it wasn't a bad movie, just didn't live up to the hype for me
Titanic- how the fuck did this movie become the top grossing movie of all time? blech
Citizen Kane there, I fucking said it....I'm not a huge fan of this movie...I resepect it's place in movie history, but sorry, not even in my top 100
Psycho I realize this could help get my horror movie fan card taken away from me. Aswith Citizen Kane, I respect this movie's place in movie history, but it just wasn't "all that" for me...

I'd say either of the Matrix sequels.

As someone said earlier about the American Pie series, when a movie is hyped up so long before release it's nearly impossible for the movie to meet the expectations.

Besides that, "A Beautiful Mind" did absolutely nothing for me and it was ranted and raved about... I'd call it garbage and highly overrated.

What comes to mind are the last 2 movies I saw - Lost in Translation and Mystic River. Both are being nominated for and winning a bunch of awards - I liked the actors in both films - I shoulda liked 'em but they were both very disappointing.
