buy it you wont regret it, I have the apple 23 cinema and I fucking love it. But then again I can afford it. (GET A iPOD TOO!)
It beats the hell out of anything else I have used or seen. I have 2 apples ,a custom dual drive G4 monster w/720gb hd and a new G5. For PCs I had some dells till they broke and found it was hell talking to a iranian or some indian person with no clue to get fixed, so I got a 17" 3ghz toshiba laptop which is pretty sweet as well as the usual HP units for drudge work. The macs are a little more to learn , but they are the #1 video processing machine out there. The PCs just go belly up with some of the stuff I edit and process. BUT I find the pcs are far superior in file storage. my  |

I'm by no means a video or monitor guru, but if I were to spend $3k-ish on a monitor I'd go with something like the 51" displayed here: http://www.go-l.com/monitors/cinerama/specs/index.htm
