Taxes are high and even a few thousand is worth it. Some stuff they just have no idea. ie: cash money but how often will you get that in this biz? I do in other things I do.

It's an American bank account available to Canadian citizens. When I says American, I mean as if you went to the States and opened a bank account. It's not a Canadian bank account in US dollars.

You are asking to get royally screwed if you bring money into your place of citizenship and do not report it the govt. Regardless if you have so-called annonymous ATM cards. Furthermore, if your name and passport #'s are on these offshore corps you're kidding yourself if you think the US or canadian govt. can't get that info. Alot has changed after 9/11. It is still possible to safely keep money offshore, but the structure required has become alot more complex.

Actually, its not that easy. During my audit, I was rather stubborn and wouldn't co-operate that freely and the IRS denied helping the CCRA as well. Mention the word terrorism though and I'm sure the IRS will be gladly talking

the government need a signed permission from yourself to go check how much money you have in your account... thats if they have a doubt..

Do you know how complicated it is for the canadian governement to go check your your bank account in the States!? Do you think its all done in seconds.. electronically by the push of a button or a simple phone call!?

The canadian government pratically never checkout bank accounts in the states unless they have big big doubts

i would assume the canadian laws are similar to US laws and you are required to pay taxes earned anywhere, worldwide as a Canadian citizen.
