I will have my left eye done first and I will be seeing with one eye for a month. I wear glasses with thick lens (they are pretty scratched up now since the reason I went for the eye exam was to get a new pair of glasses). I will either wear an eye patch or pop the lens out of the glasses. A month later, I will get the right eye done and it will take about a month to heal. The doctor told me that I would probably still need glasses but they will be thinner than the ones I currently wear.

So basically, I am looking for two months of being with one eye providing everything goes right.

Although I'm going to relax on donations from now on, I feel this is a more worthy cause than the 'other' - I can't understand why the other one got over a grand in donations and this one hasn't reached a thousand. This person will lose his sight and the other was pure vanity - yet the vanity gets more money sent to the cause.

One person asks to sell their stuff (in order to come up with the money) and another is laughing in your face while asking you to donate - and you give to the one who is pretentious when asking - not the one who ***NEEDS*** it to be able to ***SEE*** and work after that.
