that was late summer last year - VERY dry. river went down a lot, but true, it isn't a big river. still nice to have water flowing though your back yard though.

I used to have lake front - loved it in june july aug sept, hated the rest of the year. now I only have a cottage lake front - so I use that when it's nice and abandon it when it sucks.

my cottage lot in the whiteshell on dorthy lake is worth about $150K plus. Cottage is a piece of shit (hell it works for the 2 months I use it though) but the land is valueable by manitoba standards.
