When an affiliate joins a program, who assumes the risk that the sponsor's website is found obscene and/or illegal in it's jurisdiction? I ask because all everyone ever talks about is how sponsors may have legal issues with their content but NOBODY ever talks about how affiliates may or may not be affected. Is there any opinions about what affiliates should do to be on the safe side of the law? For example, I see many affiliates don't use disclaimer pages or they use content that is very risky...
