50 complains

How are you other sales last week?
I haven't had so little sales ever that i had last week on sponsors i promote. NastyDollars, Bangbros, ARS etc etc.

It was great for the first week of Feb. Better than ever in fact. But the second week now terrible. Never been so bad in over a year for one week.

My own site with CCBill on the other hand is like normal on sales or even abit better.
Note that i don't have any affiliates.

But i wonder if all this might have something todo with the last IE update or so. Cookie cut out or something that makes sales not registrered on affiliates just on the paysite owners.

I just speculate on my own traffic. But it could well be like this.

Good to hear, this also means sales will be "added" to affiliates?

It is not an affiliate program. It is my own site.

Affiliate stats is still fine. Owner stats showed everything normal yesterday. Today it's showing only 1 sale for yesterday and 0 rebills lol. I'm sure the reporting error will get fixed soon :)

bignasty 02-16-2004 07:59 AM

something aint right with it. MY clicks doubled up too. I also got a trial that should have rebilled yesterday, it says it is still active but I didn't get credited with the rebill.

john FVC 02-16-2004 08:23 AM

I saw a monster drop in sales at the beginning of last week with all CCbill sponsors. I usually am pretty consistent so immediately I started looking for problems. By midweek things were desperate so my last port of call was with CCbill themselves. They said things were fine their end but did agree there was an enormous hole in my sales compared to the past couple of months. Like everyone else my clicks had doubled. The day after I mailed them my sales suddenly came back like someone flicking a switch. I had a notion that CCbill were at fault but they are unlikely to admit it though their support in the past has been excellant I have to add. When I saw this post it basically confirms for me that it is CCbill who were at fault. My week ended up as per normal with a massive recovery of sales by the weekend. I speculate that this was me getting the sales credited from the fuck up in the first half of the week. I think they may well have a few bugs at the moment.

GotGauge 02-16-2004 08:24 AM

Just make a quick phone call to ccbill...

I did, they said stats are messed up, and they are working on the problem..

I have noticed a day as a sponsor not showing Very many sales,
and as an affiliate to other ccbill sites there is a day or 2 as well with no or little sales.

I do think however, ccbill should post these problems in both the
affiliate and webadmin news sections, so all this guessing does not take place....

:2 cents:

john FVC 02-16-2004 08:27 AM

Yep I agree...better to tell the truth. They will gain more respect for that.

Dirty F 02-16-2004 08:46 AM

Ok, so far the informed several paysite owners that sales will show up soon again...did they admit yet that the sales for the affiliates are fucked up as well?

Its starting to piss me off.

I dont like looking at 1:12500 ratios without knowing whats up.

Peter Romero 02-16-2004 08:48 AM

I watched my sales disapear off my screen for yesterday. I wrote to them and they said it was a "Hicup" in the system although they still have not returned my money to my account. By the looks of this thread, the "Hicup" is echo-ing. Corvette, where are you?

Dirty F 02-16-2004 08:50 AM

Also i noticed ccbill only is talking about yesterday while this has been going on for a few days now.

I wonder if we ever will get credit for lost sales.

So far ccbill doesnt seem to have much to say.

They soon will post something about the by now famous "glitch" i guess.

PornAddict 02-16-2004 08:53 AM

I too had some sales just disappear (from yesterday), but CCBill has always been great so I'm sure whatever the problem is, they'll have it fixed asap.

Master_Yoba 02-16-2004 11:14 AM

I got this from my sales rep:

"... they are working on the database, should be fixed shortly..
just a reporting error, no problems with signups being taken"

Dirty F 02-16-2004 11:15 AM

Bump

DTK 02-16-2004 11:21 AM

around 15 min's

Ok, cool. My stats seem to be normal now. Sales showed up and the hits sent look normal again.

It seems it was a web900 problem that messed things up.

Check your stats now, it should be fine.

Also thanks to Corvett for hitting me up.

JoeyAF 02-16-2004 01:34 PM

Yep. Our stats are also back to normal!

Hello,

Allow me to introduce myself, and offer some information regarding our recent Affiliate Admin reporting bug.

I am David S., Director of CCBill Client Support. I thought it would be appropriate for me to apologize to our clients for the time it has taken us to get the following information out regarding the Affiliate Admin Reporting issue.

On Thursday, February 12, 2004 at @4 pm (MST), a code update to our system resulted in a bug error within the Affiliate Admin reporting system. This bug created incorrect click counts, therefore affecting ratios. This bug has been fixed, and reporting has been updated to reflect the correct information for this timeframe.

Please note this was a reporting error only, and did not affect any actual counts for that period.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have created for you and your users.

I would also like to mention that just because I am now online, does not mean that Corvette has gone anywhere. Mark remains a fixture at CCBill in our Risk Area -- and on GFY! My hope is that by joining this board, my added involvement can improve our client communications when incidences like this occur.

Myself and the client Support supervisors are looking forward to getting to know each of you better.

Peter Romero 02-16-2004 02:11 PM

It's all good in the hood now. Thanks CC Bill - I knew you'd pull through.:thumbsup

seven 02-16-2004 02:32 PM

Darkknight 02-16-2004 03:47 PM

DutchTeenCash 02-16-2004 03:51 PM

Hey DavidS,

Thank you for setting the record straight...and Welcome to the Board. :321GFY LOL

chowda 02-16-2004 07:08 PM

besides clicks, how about the tracking of sales?

sickkittens 02-16-2004 07:17 PM

Is this a click only or signup problem for those having problems?

I have 1:5000 conversions recently where I have 1:250 on other programs.

Clicks did get fixed for me though.

Catalinas 02-16-2004 07:48 PM

I just had my suspicions confirmed. I was blaming ccbill for low signups on one sponsor I promoted for about a week and a half. There was nothing wrong with ccbill's tracking. This sponsor has the 'pay on trials' option set to no. I wasn't making any sales because any sign ups I sent were trials and they have it set to not pay on trials. I did however get a rebill from one of the trials (for the slow people, that's how I realized they had it set to not pay on trials).

Can CCbill PLEASE take out this one last feature that can help sponsors get free sales? There is absolutely no reason on a partnership program to not pay on trials. I'd be interested in hearing from Corvette or DavidS on this issue. As of now, I won't be promoting CCbill sites that have trials as I can't be sure if they are going to pay on the trials.
