Bone stock, minus the transmission. (For now anyway...)

I like how you said that.

sorry, um what brand are we talkin about first off? And secondly we only build Fords and 99% of them are big blocks

First choice would be a mopar hemi with an aluminum block.

But you know best. What does ford do better :)

2.9L AutoCraft, Turbonetics T66, N20, about 1000hp at the crank on the bottle. Package weighs about 720 pounds.

Once a month driver but I want to be able to drive it 500 miles and around town without it over heating.:)

Homegrownvideo 02-15-2004 02:40 AM

Unfortunately, it isn't running right now.

Here is the horror story: http://thirdgen.org/techbb2/showthre...threadid=94544

To make a long story short: I never took them to court. My Camaro made it here to CO before it died. As far as I see it: I was going to replace the engine sometime anyway. *sigh*.

Sure miss driving it...

ya 500 mile road trips are gonna be murder on certain applications. A healthy big block on pump gas that will make 600+ lbft of torque will have you giggling from ear to ear. Thta type of thing depending on what brand would cost ya around 10k or so MAX. Lots of factors involved though

ya thats an easy court win for you. I tprobably spun a rod or main bearing due to no oil pressure and the tickin you heard was the hydraulic lifters not pumped up.

When you say 600+ lbft of torque that is not the same as 600+ hp right?
I have a N/A 600HP now that runs on pump but it gets hot in traffic.

compression is alittle high, but depending on other things, mainly the cam and how agressive it is. Single plane or dual plane intake, and how hot? 200degrees?
