    I recently came across medical research info on how MHCP (methylhydroxychalcone polymer) a primary compound found in cinnamon can have an incredible impact on controlling your blood sugar levels. MHCP boosts the glycogen content of muscle and liver cells. In other words, MHCP acts as though it were insulin - it is an insulin mimic. MHCP reduces blood glucose levels not just in the presence of insulin but also in its complete absence - and it does so almost as well as insulin itself.

    Cinnamon restores your fat cell's ability to respond to insulin and remove excess glucose out of your system. Cinnamon is also a rich source of magnesium, which is essential for maintaining bone density, electrolyte balance, certain enzyme functions and many other crucial biochemical processes.

    Cinnamon reduces acidity in your digestive tract and supercharges the ability of your body to digest foods readily without fat absorption.

    Green tea inhibits the action of anylase, a primary digestive enzyme of carbohydrates, and promotes the movement of food through the digestive system.

    Honey, which contains some of the most powerful compounds in nature when mixed with cinnamom and green tea create a formulation together that essentially prevents your body from accumulating fat.

    So about a week ago I started adding a teaspoon of pure cinnamon powder to every cup of green tea I drank, along with honey and a few drops of pure lemon juice. On the first day I did this I felt all my sugar and carb cravings simply vanish. It was like my body was in balance again. My energy levels went way up as well.

    I got on the scale the next day and I saw my weight down by a pound. I thought hmmm, that's a good sign. Next day 2 more pounds were gone. By the end of the week, I dropped 7 pounds.

    That might not sound like a lot, but most diets are only able to knock off 1 to 3 pounds realistically per week. So it was over double the normal weight loss.

    I'm curious to see if this works for anyone else who's heavy. Just drink about 3 to 6 cups of green tea per day, mixed with a teaspoon of pure cinnamon powder, honey, and lemon juice.

    The cinnamon is the key, cause as soon as I added that in the mix the fat started to disappear fast as lightning.

          No its not just exercise when you have a weight problem. When I exercised prior to this I felt my blood sugar was just more out of whack and I'd get back from a workout craving sweets and carbs.

          Since I added cinnamon to my daily routine, when I come back from a workout, the cravings are no longer there. Zero, zippo. I can look at a candy bar now and not have the urge to munch it at all.

            I'll copy and paste that - very interesting - must try it.

            I go up and down 22 pounds every week. I think it has got something to do with my medication.

              Only workout thing I'm doing is 1 mile a day walk, 5 times a week, which I've always done, and 10 minutes of light hand weights which I've always done.

              And since I started consuming a lot of pure cinnamon daily, no more desire for sugary and fatty foods at all.

                The walking is good stuff, I was doing that until it got really cold. I was going about 2.5 miles a day for a while there and I liked to do it at night nice fresh air, it was great. Get home take a shower and you feel great.

                      My tummy is getting smaller day by day. I can see the difference in the mirror.

                      I even went to a Chinese buffet style restaurant for lunch today to see if I ate a big meal, if I would gain or not. I ate 2 plates of veggies, some shrimp, and some seafood. Went for a mile walk afterwards, came home and no weight gain.

                        Green tea sounds so gross, is it good tasting? Where do you get green tea?

                          I am gonna give that a try. I used to wrok out all the time so I have a muscular foundation but the last 2 years or so I have some bodyfat that creeped up on me. Cinnanmon here i comeeee

                              Thanks, I knew about green tea benefits but not about cinnamon. Putting some cinnamon in my green tea right now.

                              Also drinking eight glasses of water a day really helps.
