100 Cinnamin Honey Balls.
:1orglaugh |
Honey is definitely another one of those amazing substances.. Even the ancients were well aware of it's curative properties and used it often in medicine. Being that it's antibacterial, they put it especially on cuts and burns and it helped to prevent infection and promote healing. I even use it now instead of creams sometimes.. Amazing stuff.

Thats very interesting. hmmmm

Read this week's Time Magazine article on the drug industry. It will blow your mind how in bed they are with the government to keep non expensive medical treatments out of the public's knowledge and how they are trying to block prescription drugs being bought in Canada by Americans where they can get drugs for about 1/3rd of the cost.
Its actually very frightening and verges on a very deep conspiracy within the Congress to help the drug companies keep raping our wallets. Pharmacuticles are the most profitable industry, with an average 28% margin. |

Awesome thread KRL :thumbsup

If you have seasonal allergies it's best to eat honey that was raised within 50 miles of where you live. It will stop the allergins that bother you.

I was watching a cooking show the other day that said the cinnamon you buy in the store isn't really that great. Do you have an online source for the "real" stuff? Raw honey I can get at any roadside stand here in the woods :winkwink: but there's no cinnamon which isn't mass produced. I'm going to try this in my black tea - I tried the green tea and just can't get turned on by it. :( Thanks for the info - we "middle aged" folks especially need to pay attention to these things :thumbsup |

Bye bye SouthBeachDiet.com
Hello CinnamonDiet.com :Graucho :) |
Umm...quick question...I had a glass last night, a glass this morn and a glass just now. This glass had less water than normal, but same amount of ingredients. Should I feel nauseous from this? Kinda have that feeling that I have if you eat vitamins without having food along with it. weird...cinnamon cause this?
|
Ok, just for experiment's sake...I've been consistently losing 3-3.5 pounds per week. I started drinking 1 glass of this concoction per day (1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp honey, lemon, green tea) once he made this thread. I will weigh myself again on Saturday probably. If you guys want, I can report back and tell you if I lost anything more than the typical 3-3.5 pounds per week.

You should take the Herbalife shake but if you need to gain weight, you should drink it after and not instead of meals. It is very healthy, soy based and you'll like it. www.herbalife.com and good luck. :thumbsup |
I've been drinking this concoction for the last few days and lost a few more pounds than usual :)
|
I ordered online 4 green tea packs (3.5oz each) and bought honey yesterday. My wife wants to try it :thumbsup
I was talking about it to my mother and she said "Do not even get close to this tea!". I'm very skinny, heh. |

so where are you at ? how much did you lose?
|
I was diagnosed as borderline diabetic just over 6 years ago, my sugar was stable at 7.6 (a bit too high), I took up a bet that I would lose weight on Atkins, figured it was an easy way to make money (my previous diet was based on baked potato, veg and chicken/fish), totally lost that bet and my blood sugar is an average 4.6 :thumbsup
At first I was a little wary about using this green tea concoction bescause of the honey but it hasn't upped my blood sugar at all and my weight loss has increased - thanks KRL, now I just have to convince the rest of my family to try it :) |
Thanks for the info I shall try it:thumbsup

In answer to your questions, I've been watching my food intake. It does seem to help keep you on track and lower the cravings. Yes same exercise rate. Only thing different was adding cinnamon to the mix. Yes honey can spike your blood sugar. Try it without it then. |
I love cinnamon.
I love green tea. I love honey. I love lemons. Question is -- What else did you change in your diet and are you more concious of? Simply being concious and thinking of what you're putting into your body will help you lose weight. You inspired me to drink that daily though. I will start that as my breakfast every morning. Cheers, Matt |

I'll have to find other ways to increase my cinnamon consumption. Does it mix well with pepsi ? :1orglaugh |
If this really makes you lose an extra pound per day, I would consider it a miracle, especially for it being a very natural and healthy alternative.

And my friend's blood sugar level is still pretty good.

before I had read this thread, i just started getting into arizona green tea. good stuff.
I noticed after a few days of drinking it i wasnt as hungry as i usually am and my cravings for carb/sweets were down too. so there definitly something to this, without a doubt. so i checked up on green tea and lo and behold Green Tea has an important ingredient long known for its thermogenic properties, green tea contributes to some major fat burning. A tiny compound in green tea, called epigallocatechin gallate, has been shown to significantly reduce food intake and, subsequently, body weight in healthy adults. Bio flavanoids and polyphenols in green tea also fight harmful free radicals within your body. so i decided to try it to see how the weight lose works, im sure if i drank a more pure green tea the results would be quicker. im gonna check it out after my supply of arizona is done (i have 10 of those 2 gallon babies to go) |
any idea if chewing on a stick of cinnamon would have the same effect?
|
Question for KRL:
I found this cinnamon: Simply Organic Cinnamon Powder 2.45oz Kosher: Kosher Organic: 100% Organic Botanical Name: Cinnamomum cassia http://store.ediblenature.com/so-cin...owder-org.html Can I use this cinnamon? |
maybe i'm going to start funnelling liquid cinnamon, maybe that'll work, but i'm already skinny so i guess there really is no point, do you have anything that'll help me gain weight? :Graucho
