Lolita was a fictional character in a book. She was fourteen years old and was seduced by an older man; hence, the term 'lolita', at least in the US, has been associated with underaged girls.
It's only the US, by the way, who is having such a shit fit about the usage of the word....in certain countries, like Germany, lolita just means young girl.....but certainly not underage. It's not necessarily cp.Raven
