YowCow.com payment processor???
Hi, all. Just got a spam like this:
----------------------- Dear Sir/Madam A customer of ours would like to purchase your products/services and asked us to contact you on their behalf to ask if they can use YowCow to make purchases from you. ----------------------- Since it looked nice and was of my interest I went to check the site www.yowcow.com out. Looks nice, but have ony google PR = 4 and not widelly mentioned in the net (google finds 432 matches, when it finds 61,700 matches for ikobo and 109,000 for stormpay, not to mention PayPal). They claim to process adult and charge only .35 per transaction without % from amount. Have anyone heard about them? Is this just another scammer or you think they have some potential?

At least they didn't create their domain name the day before they opened up, and then change their domain name two weeks after opening to another domain they only registered a week before. Not that anyone does that (beaverpay)

They charge a loading fee...
so your customer will be charged the 2.5% to fund their yowpow account. Maybe they have some creative solution to where the merchant can pay that fee though. But they are probably walking a pretty thin line with visa regs here.... IMO, someone will shine the spotlight on them & they'll be out of adult in under 30 days. |

Epassporte is a nightmare and a hole for clients to disappear down. You tell them what is wrong and they tell you it's right or give you some weak excuse about why it has to be. Also having Kimmy Kim represent them says a lot to me. She told me we could get our money bank transferred when we can't. But if Epassporte can charge money to load an account why can't YowCow? |
