does most of your search engine traffic come from singular or plural ?

For example, does most of your search engine traffic come in for 'teen' or teens'..or in my case 'BBW' or 'BBWs'. I'm not sure how much it matters as far as results go but I am building a lot of sites today and as the overture suggestion tool always makes plural terms into singular it sparked me to ask.

an old SEO habit I've stuck with and it works for me is go with the plural....

you can find a peach in peaches

but can't find peaches in a peach...

also, it really depends on the word/phrase...

I don't think most people search for "A" tit....I"m guessing most would like to see BOTH titS

yep. thats an excellent rule.

Sarah it also depends on whats being searched for. Your best bet is to use wordtracker and have a look at the plural ratio. It varies quite significantly for instance "gay midgets" is typed in about 5% more than "gay midget" whereas "amputee girl" is typed in 20% more than amputee girls".

also you mix plurality in the body copy and title - "gaymidget.com your number 1 place for gay midgets" and so on.

yeah, I see how that would be the case. So, why not use both?

grrr at you for getting there first...in my page text when I am doing BBW stuff I try to mix it up a bit with something like 'if you love sexy bbws than you have found the place for you. Just look at that sexy fat BBW showing over her plump body..etc' So, that I try to get both terms in there.
