I Didn't Know This About Michael Jackson...

On Fox News Channel they were just talking about the first Michael Jackson case. The one that was settled.

It turns out MICHAEL didn't settle. His insurance company did. They told him they wanted to settle the case instead of risking a long drawn out trial and that if he didn't go along with the settlement he would no longer be insured.

Interesting...

The only reason a insurance would part with money is they knew if it went to court they were going to lose lol.

They love long drawn out cases. A certain % of their shit just goes away do death of the complaintant.

But Michael probably had a lawyer and the music company had a lawyer so who knows who pushed for it to go quickly.

Not necessarily. Michael's attorneys are NOT cheap. A long trial can be extremely costly. And Michael would stick them with all sorts of expenses I can't even imagine.

I've been told a lot of celebs and mega wealthy individuals have insurance against lawsuits. When you have a lot of money it's worthwhile to have such insurance.

Being famous seems to really suck in the long run.

People you havent seen in years resurface to cash in, you get sued out the wazoo and you cant just live your life without it being broadcast all over the universe 5 seconds later.

Fuck that shit, I enjoy being able to be me.

Power to the unknown brothas and sistas keepin it real on the downlow.

Michael Jackson is in effect a company, where he is the product. All corporations have legal insurance against lawsuits.
