Sounds like the recent worm everybody's getting to me. There are a couple variations floating around now, but its basically harmless. Once its in your system, it'll send itself to every email address it can find and then continually create new email addresses on its own.

It's a bitch to get off your system, but I think there's some patches avail.

Rich, just let Adaware fo its work. The tracking cookies... you as being an experienced webmaster should know what cookies are.

What is odd is that it recognizes svchost.exe or nvsvc32.exe as a threat. Weird...

the mydoom worm (virus) sends itself to everyone in your address book, it doesn't create its own...

but to me it doesn't seem like you got the mydoom worm, get norton and make sure it's updated and you'll be okay!

There are a couple variations floating around now, but its basically harmless. Once its in your system, it'll send itself to every email address it can find and then continually create new email addresses on its own. It's a bitch to get off your system, but I think there's some patches avail.
