What's your 'ACR'? "Affiliate Cut-off Ratio'???

So you sign up with an affiliate and send traffic. Several thousands of hits later it doesn't convert. Drop em'?

So what's your 'ACR'? Affiliate Cut-off Rate? Is it after 5,000 or 10,000 hits sent?

500 clicks. 1000 if I am in a forgiving mood. If after a reasonable amount of time they are worse than 1:350 or so I drop them. I don't use too many sponsors anyway, my sites convert too well to piss away the traffic like that.

Twisty that's my philosophy. Either their tour converts or it don't. If it's a 'new' program I let it go to 2k maximum. That's so word gets around first. Then after that if it doesn't drop to 1;350 it's a goner.

2k. if they are going to do 1-2 signups in 2k I won't use them. So at 2k they need at least one to be considered.

0:3500 by my own count.

Gigacash is fast approaching this number.

They'll be gone in the morning.

it depends the traffic source. It can be as little as 1:500 or up to 1:2000

Soul_Rebel, that's being way too generous for my blood. This past 4 months I've signed up with every affiliate my toons niche can handle. Some do a great job of attracting attention but don't convert for snot. Yet sometimes the littlest ones. The ones that feature ONE model not a gillion will convert.

Some big featured affiliates have umpteen additional sites you can get with one join but most haven't converted yet.

In the beginning I didn't use affiliate programs. I might go back to that unless something so amazing pops up. I'm working with pals in Japan to get in on some of their programs. The translation problem is the problem but that should resolve soon.
