Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik sounds like all the other rap tracks released in 1994. Nothing all too special about it.

Tracks like Ms Jackson, Bombs Over Bagdad, The Whole World, Hey Ya, those tracks are redefining rap/hip hop. Outkast is on some next level shit and smart people are loving it.

And to all those who are saying Justin Timberlake is mad talented... did you only realize this now? The smartest thing he's ever done is gone solo.

If you think one group with some pop rap songs can redefine hip hop then you're out of your mind. The only thing they're doing different now is selling to middle class white kids who watch TRL and mom and dad foot the CD bill at the mall. There's nothing that special about what they are doing at all, it's rap, it's commercialized pop rap at that. They can do their thing I don't have any problem with that but calling it changing, redefining, next level or whatever else is a total joke.

yeah i agree that outcast is definately pop rap now but I havent lost respect for them, they know they wont be around forever so theyre smart enough to cash in on whats working!

Believe me, you wish you owned the rights to that song and artist.

this is a case of damn if you do,damn if you don't...if they was sounding like evry other 'rapper' you would complain and vice versa..they're taking to another level on every ablum and they bring more fans with them every fucking time..this album went 6x platy and it dropped what late last year..keep hating:1orglaugh

I'm not much of a rap/hiphop fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I really like what these guys are doing...they create catchy tunes that stick in your head forever...

there were much better efforts put out by Ill Nino, Arch Enemy, Lamb Of God, mushroomhead, Hatebreed, The Distillers and numerous other much more deserving bands

name those bands to the voting members of the academy and they will say "who?"
