Man...either two things will happen here. 1. She'll get owned and ask you for help after, or 2. You'll get owned because you "care" too much and it will be your 4K she's sending. For example:

I'm a lawyer for blah , blah , we have made a class action against blah , blah , we will get back your 4k plus 2k punitive judgement against them ...blah blah , the courts have ruled in our favor ...
To recover your money and the 2k punitive , just sign on to our class action procedure...send 2k $ for legal expenses and you'll get you money back + 2k with in 5 days blah,blah blah...

Nah, she knows me well, and she knows I'm not stupid. Usually she's pretty stuck in her ways when she thinks something is right, I think this is just part of her personality.

I don't part with my money easily :) Sure as hell not for something like this!

As an update to this she's told me she's "only recieved one check" so far... I'm pretty sure this is where she hears from the bank. :)

Only question now is whether she'll tell me, I don't find it likely she'd admit to being wrong.
