Ill give this thread a second title, "Matt40ouncer strikes again"

This is the same dude that came on the PC board last year, asked us all for help and guidance, then shot down all of our ideas one by one and began a campaign to ridicule and piss everyone off. He succeeded with some, but most others tend to think of matty as a very misguided child that needs more corporal punishment in his lifeless life.

As for Tam, well, I tend to get a feeling about people I interact with in this biz, and I can spot those that are "on the ball" and are honest hardworking people that are helpful and caring, and professional. Anyone with the ability to separate good people like Tam from cranial-voids like matt will tell you that they would WANT an updating-type email from Tam. Hell, I welcome messages and mails from someone like Tam, because I know she would never intentionally bother me, but rather her stuff is helpful and of interest to me as a fellow webmaster.

The ability to separate those two types of people is a valuable life skill, and in this business it's also a valuable skill to be able to separate shit-spam from emails that have some merit and value.

Lastly, I'll state the obvious here by saying that it's pretty God-damned tacky to run to the boards every time someone pisses you off in some slight way. Tam isn't all that hard to locate by private email or ICQ, so why come on here bashing for all to read? Bring young Matt to me and leave him for a week...I'll straigten his sorry ass out, most assuredely as the sun will rise in the east.

Tam, where do I sign up for your program? If it's good enough for Wolfshade, then it's good enough for me.

What strikes me as really funny CD is that he says he hasn't been on vector's mailing list for years. He hasn't even been in this business for years. He showed up on pc in dec of last year begging for newbie help and who was the first person to take him by the hand and befriend him? You got it...Tam. personally I have always thought him to be a total asshole and have never had a problem with telling him that. He's been banned from this board once under the name x-rated which he used because as soon as anyone see's the name matt40 oz they start throwing the rotten tomatoes. When is this jerk going to realize he alienates everyone and no one wants him around. The fact that he has to keep changing his nick just so people will talk to him has to tell you something.
I'm sorry I don't mean to rant, but this guy has just pissed me off for a long time and I felt like venting.

BRAVO! CD, I couldn't agree with you more. My highest respects to you! Someone needed to say this, I think.
I usually don't have the time to jump from board to board and stoped going to them cuz I found there was little of interest in them, until I found GFY. I think there are many here who are honest and harworking people. Many whom I respect. Tam is certainly on the list of respected and professional ones. It has been a learning and interesting experience for me to come to GFY.
I think it is a shame, specially lately, that a few think this is the medium to bring their dirty laundry to, not even making an effort to contact the person they are having problems with before posting. The only usefull thing about those posts is, it makes it easier to recognize who is serious and professional, and who isn't

Sharp cookies like you and Tam shouldn't let a pissant like matt have the luxury of knowing he gets to you. I've said this before, and it seems applicable to a few other opinionated jerkazoids cruising this forum too.... children are sometimes best ignored until they say something worthy of a response. (you know who you are)

I simply have a strong aversion to public displays of stupidity, so I do my best to re-align their thinking. I can expose their idiocy, show them the way to a more correct and informed way of thinking, but beyond that it's up to them to cement the deal.
There is a cure for stupidity after all!

Hope you and Tam are both having a good day in spite of...things.
