wow signed off the internet early last night and missed all the fun....

heres my 2 cents....... banning guns is a mute point because as the saying goes "If they outlaw guns....Only outlaws will have the guns" sorry to dis agree with you anti gun people but way more crimes have been averted by someone just having a gun and the criminal knowing it than any of someone just randomly shooting someone. A criminals worst fear when breaking into a place is the fear of bieng shot. They fear the citizen on the other end of the door with a shotgun or a .45 thats about to blow them away. A criminal with a guns greatest joy is an unarmed victom. I too am a Veteran of the first Gulf war so I too have respect for any other veteran whether its in my Country or another. Gun control is a first step of a controling government.......whats the next step? a ban on porn? then what? civil liberties? where does it stop? "the right to keep and bear arms" is part of what our country was based upon. Im all for enforcing gun laws. Im all for fully prosecuting criminals that use them to the full extent of the law. But dont try to take my guns away. Im a law abiding citizen but will never give up my guns. I was raised around them and have been hunting since I was a small boy. I have never shot a gun at anybody outside of the military. The main reason a family member gets shot is the same reason people crash cars. they are untraind in their use and dont have the respect for them that they should. You wouldnt expect a 14 year old to just wonder into a car lot and drive off with a car when he has never been taught to drive would you? The same thing with a firearm. its too bad that idiot parents never train their kids with gun safety and thats where the problem lies. You can have my guns.... Ill give them to you .... Bullets first..... Hey Dirty.......I got your back!!
