Attn: Musicians. Shopping for a keyboard/synth.

Well I've been getting quite frustrated lately while clicking away in Reason to lay down some tunes and decided that perhaps it's time to buy a synth. All I really need is the MIDI functionality but the way I see it, if I am going to spend the money, might as well get something worthwhile.

I am looking for something with weighted or semi-weighted keys and a pitch bend within a $300-400 price range, so Alesis and Korg are out of the scope. Any recomendations and experiences?

		 Hey buddy -

Since you said Korg's are out, check out the Roland's... I have a Roland XP-30 and it has great sounds. You wont be able to arrange with the lower end Rolands, so will need to pick up some software, like Cubase. (If Reason doesnt do it - no familiar with it) |

I run an Oxygen8 into Reason no problem. Though it's tiny, and has plastic keys, and no sounds of it's own.. it works fine for one handed shit : ) Plus, I'm to lazy to plug my workstation in. |
