KRL, I understand you don't like to see animals used for the sake of scientific research. However, most of us would not be here w/o it. Post pictures of slaughter house for hamburger meat or chickens getting it's head cut off while it's body still floats around, the result is the same. PETA is full of shit.

really wish I didnt watch but make me feel good I adopted a puppy...breaders suck, who cares about "show dogs" there are all ready too many dogs and thats why things like this have to happen

It is ironic that Peta uses these image to grab people's attention, because they're in favor of exterminating all Pets; that is according to their president Ingrid Newkirk. In fact, people have sued Peta to use a different name, because they are against ownership of Pets. Here's on letter of complaint to NewKirk and a response from her:

The video is not a nice thing to see. But as it has been said before the killing with monoxide is not painful and probably it must be done because if those people would not kill them they would eventually turn into predators/attack in pack, killing people.

I wouldnt put it past PETA to make images like on the last page to try and get their twisted point of view across.

the only problem with the research aspect is that about 90% of the experiments being done on animals are redundant and pointless. Animal researchers, like every other type of scientist, just want to spend up the grant and get another one. Research on animals should only be done when there is a compelling reason for it, they don't need to take the 'blow cigarette smoke at them until they die and then mark the time' test for the 8,162nd time just to make sure some researcher gets his govt. money.
