hah, You should buy one of these,

<img src="http://images.jlist.com/c3/gf1whno2.gif">

Although I think that Americans that understand Japanese are few, they do seem to like kanji and katakana shirts. Most Japanese have some experience of English since high school. It is a shame that Japanese books don't sell as well as porn memberships. It's definitely and untapped market... "common kanji tattoos" would do well especially amongst the otaku.

If it's about translations, I don't do them unless you're paying and paying well.

But whatever it's about, leave your email address and I will contact you tomorrow morning.

Gotta love japanese for the ability to do multiple layers of meaning with the same sentance...

Today I found out that 'kuronbo' can mean both 'dark skinned person' or 'smut'... the possibilities for pun on that word alone are immense.

I thought that it was JETRO... or maybe I'm just on crack.

I was going to do my JPL test, but it's hard to find the time to study for something like that when doing Real Work(tm). Extra hard when there's maybe a total of 150 japanese nationals in the entire province. It's pretty darn white out here in Halifax.

Now if I wanted to learn how to speak newf or brettoner, I'd have limitless resources at hand...

Heh... our generation's first japanese context was Shogun and Yojimbo... our kids' context is playstation, tamagotchis and pokemon.

I think we got the better end of that deal.

It's not on CD or Tape. And it doesn't do it justice to watch the movie. So, I guess I'm going to have to go to the Philippines and pay a room full of people to make a recording of it. Give me another year or two and I'll have it for you.

You must be younger than me. My first exposure was Godzilla, Kimba the White Lion, Speed Racer and Johnny Sokko. It seems things have come full circle.
