Uhm... well lets see. In my old car, i got 2 100+ MPH speeding tickets. Then i moved 4 times in 6 months, forgot about court which was on the same day for both tickets (i rescheduled it that way thinking it would be easier). Then i had just baught the lexus, and i was pumping gas, and the guy i baught the car off had just gotten back from europe, and wasnt driving the car for years, turns out his check for the back registration bounced. SO, the car was unregistered from 2001 (I hadnt had a chance to make it to the DMV, still moving) and a cop was bored at 2am on my last run up to my new appartment and ran the reg, etc.. Then the impound lot fucked me and I had to buy the car BACK for $2500, then dump $800 into back registration, and $916 into my tickets and court fees. Gay shit... but hindsight is always 20/20

Fuck the track, Im all about street. Then again, if I had a ferrari, I would probably only really open it up on the track. What's top street speed with road imperfections for your ferrari? I know they're low enough that if you matched my top speed down the 5 from laguna south your car has enough down force it would put your nose into the asphault on some of those dips.

I don't know, I think my Supra would probably hand a Ferrari it's ass on a track. It's pretty heavily modified. Well over double the power, 14 inch 6 pot brakes, roll cage, expensive coil-over suspension, track ready cooling system, etc etc.

Stock for stock the Ferrari is obviously the choice for a track car. In the current config, the Supra would win!

Then again, who goes to the track here? I probably will this summer. Until then Redshoe could beat me around a track in his truck.

On the street, the Ferrari would be eating dust pretty bad. ;)

I'd still rather have the Ferrari.... and a Supra.

People will be left back in the dust.

I don't need to have a BMW emblem on my car to feel cool.

What kinda insecure loser really worries about what brand clothing they wear, or who makes their car?

I like my Supra. It looks gorgeous, it will blow away almost anything on the road, is quiet on the inside and outside, and drives like it has the stock clutch still.

What did the S7 run?

I couldn't drive my Supra for shit when I got it at the end of August. I ran it at the track and pulled a 12.3 @ 128

This next year I'm going to rent the track out for a day with a bunch of friends and do whatever it takes to run what it should. A low 10 second, or high 9 second quarter mile.

When you wanna come to Vancouver and get beat? ;)

Highway roll on, 60 mph - 160 mph?

Supras are famous for beating Hayabusa(sic?) bikes on the highway.

From that statment you have never driven a BMW... I love driving my X5 and don't need to take it upto 150mph for it to be a tight ride...

If you like it then thats what counts...I used to want a supra back in the day also but could never afford the insurance...

Huggles, S7 ran a high 10 low 11 on a very green track.. It was very slick. And I had stock tires on both cars.

Na, I've driven several M3s, they are nice cars.

X5? I'd never buy a luxury SUV. I couldn't see myself ever off-roading it, so why would I buy a truck over a car?

I'm not big into buying a car for the name. When you buy a Ferrari you're not just buying a name, you're buying a certain type of exotic. When you buy an Escalade over, say, a cheaper Denali, you're paying for name and name only. I've sat in both and they felt cheap compared to that Lexus truck, whatever it's called. Or was it Infinity? I can't remember.

What year S2000?

I also have a supercharged 2000 model S2000. It puts out 350 rwhp under 11 psi from a Vortech V2.

I like the Supra better. It's faster, feels safer, stops faster, and gets more looks. Almost handles better, too, actually, it might.

Hey LA Mike, if I come down to LA in my Supra, we'll go fill up with some 116 octane gas and I'll show you what 800 hp feels like.

I imagine the S7 feels similar. It's a little lighter and what, 600 horse?

However, this spring I should be getting a custom intake manifold and possibly cams. Could be able to hit over 800 rwhp, then I'll be damn close to the 1000 horsepower mark.
