I listen to them daily, and am glad my mom used to listen to Highway to Hell while cleaning the living room and since I was 3, she used to make me dance to it.

I saw them during thier For those about to rock tour. I was next to the right side of the stage right in front of the row of cannons. Even without those cannons it was the loudest concert I have ever been to.

When you saw them in concert, didn't Angus just blow your mind. He freaking head banged and jammed for three hours with only taking a small break. He would eat loads of chocolate just in order to keep it up before going out on stage....

One word, AWESOME.

If I make it to my sixties, I will still be listening to them.

* They swore on their graves that they'd never release a music video. Not in them yet though, pity that.

* They used to INVITE people to bring tape recorders to their concerts to get bootleg recordings before becoming full time RIAA dick suckers. I had a couple at one point... lost to the gods of house-moving.

I agree that the whole st.anger thing sucked and it solded largely on Metallica's reputation but I think you should atleast give them some respect for getting it where it is.
