How do you think Bush will do on meet the press?

How do you think Bush will do on meet the press?

I think he is going to do better than expected.

He has gone to excellent schools all his life, from a phillips prep school, to yale, and finally harvard.

How badly could he do with some of the best qualified profs (Condy Rice) available to help him study for this interview?

That depends on how hard the journalists will go at him.

If they keep working from the point of view "if you ask negative questions you must be a traitor" then he will come out on top. But if they really go at him you will probaly see him having problems or at least say something completely foolish.

I think he'll do just fine. If he had not been president for 4 years already and we were back at the beginning I might not say so, however he has been in the political arena now long enough that I am sure he has learned to play the politicians hokey pokey and never answer one question and talk in circles. he'll do fine. Just MO

After all, that was done in California....

Bush will answer all questions with a one liner, then shift to a well known text for all questions:

" Saddam was a bad man, a brutal dictator, a dictator that tortured his own people, people who wanted to be free. This government did the right thing by removing a thug that was threatning his own people, along with the safety of the whole world and the security of the US. Gone the rape rooms, the torture chamber, the huge dildos.

The world is a much safer place, the people of Iraq are free, ... and we know that Saddam had tought of implementing a possible program to study the feasibility of eventually using some weapons of mass destruction.

We know, because he bought an alarm clock at the dollar store. "

Bush is the president that has given the LESS press conference. Questions are always asked in the " rose garden" by his friends " Steve" and so on...

But since wanting to know the truth is anti-patriotic, journalist will not push by fear of reprisal.

How would you know??? If he does well, you will all twist it anyway and add your own little theories on what "YOU THINK" he is covering up or how ?YOU THINK? he is doing a horrible job, and then try your best to make him look bad. So you are not going to have an objective view on it.

Bush can barely speak coherent English, he was a mediocre student and would have failed with a different last name.

It's no accident they picked right-leaning Tim Russert to do the interview, I wouldn't be surprised if they have all the questions in advance.

He'll do fine. He doesn't do interviews or press conferences without "staging" the whole thing. He is very much handled and protected.

What has he done, two or three press conferences and anyone who might ask a tough question is moved to the back or not invited. Just ask Helen Thomas.

Those *outside* of the US stand to benefit if he is re-elected.

But the thought sickens me, nonetheless.

yeah, it's amazing that people in the adult industry support Bush. To him, we are basically not citizens on the US because of what we do. It does seem that less and less support him...so I think it actually takes some balls to support him at this point.

Wait till he is finished with gay marriages.

Quote:
President Bush repeated this pledge after Wednesday's ruling and suggested a change in the constitution, which would override individual state laws, may be necessary.

"If activist judges insist on redefining marriage by court order, the only alternative will be the constitutional process," he said in a statement.

Here's a great quote from Daddy Bush, to give you an idea of how they think:

I don't know that Atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God.
President George H. W. Bush (the First), during an August 27, 1987 interview by Rob Sherman

This is out of context. What he was saying was he denounced BJU's BAN on interracial dating.

true...it was out of context...how bout this one:

I urge all Texans to answer the call to serve those in need. By volunteering their time, energy or resources to helping others, adults and youngsters follow Christ's message of love and service in thought and deed.
Therefore, I, George W. Bush, Governor of Texas, do hereby proclaim June 10, 2000, Jesus Day in Texas and urge the appropriate recognition whereof,
In official recognition whereof,
I hereby affix my signature this
17th day of April, 2000.

I think they'll tear him apart until his own personal resolve comes through and saves his ass. That's his strong point. Not all the prep work done by suits, just his knack for being a regular guy when the shit hits the fan.

I think he'll come to the cognition as well as everyone else watching that he was setup from day one and then he'll see what everyone else in the country has been complaining about, turn the tide and then we'll have an avalanche of politicians, intelligence operatives and big business dudes gettin' swamped by the backlash.

Bush ain't no fool but someone's been playing him for one and didn't realize he's no pushover.

What about it? Presidents and governers are always making up special days that people don't pay attention to. So what if a governor decides to proclaim a day to celebrate an historical figure whether or not it may also be a religious figure?

And our esteemed Attorney Gen:

Unique among the nations, America recognized the source of our character as being godly and eternal, not being civic and temporal. And because we have understood that our source is eternal, America has been different. We have no king but Jesus.
..........John Ashhahahahaha

Frankly, the president, during the first opportunity I had to be in a Cabinet meeting, before we started the meeting, he said, "Folks, before we begin this meeting, I'm going to call on General Ashhahahahaha and ask him invite the wisdom and presence of God in what we do."
And I thought to myself how ashamed I'd been that so many times in my life I had entered upon great important tasks and I had cheated myself and those that I had served of a blessing.
..........John Ashhahahahaha
