PHP forum comming up with bug
I have a forum (surfer not webmaster), that sometimes when you post it comes up with this error
Failed sending email :: PHP :: DEBUG MODE Line : 246 File : /usr/home/exhibiti/public_html/forum2/includes/emailer.php any ideas php people?

post the lines around 246, and specify which is 246 and we can have a better idea

Maybe sendmail or qmail is returning bad.. a bad email from someone in the subscribed thread list?.

Enable SMTP in Admin Panel --> General Admin --> Configuration, use as SMTP server localhost, leave username and password empty and see if it works. If it still doesn't work, try as SMTP server the SMTP server of your hoster or your ISP as well as the respective username (if necessary) and your SMTP password (only possible, if the SMTP server supports authentication). http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=150531 |
