Concerns have again been raised about the energy drink, Red Bull, after the deaths of three people in Sweden, all of whom had drunk it just before they died. This follows deaths in Europe and America linked, though without proof, with Red Bull. As Bob Chaundy of the BBC's News Profiles Unit explains, despite these health scares, it has become a worldwide phenomenon.
It is banned in France, classified as a medicine in Norway and, until recently was only available in pharmacies in Japan. Yet, Red Bull, the drink that "gives you wings" sold more than a billion cans last year across 50 countries.

it's illegal here in Canada as well, the fda won't approve it..but I buy it in Chinatown...it's the original stuff from Thailand which is not fuzzy...I'd rather drink redbull than do drugs, it gives u the same rush...that's why it's illegal, it raises your heart rate and when u mix it with alcohol it's dangerous and can cause heart attacks
i have personally witnessed someone crashing hard after drinking redbull and then other booze. It was really scary and enough to put me off it...that and the taste.

yeah, trust me it can do that and it is sold in every pub and nightclub in the UK as a way of keeping your energy up so you can drink and dance more. So, you have people drinking stuff that doesn't really hydrate them whilst working up sweat and then putting this combo into their bodies.

Used to love red bull and absolut mandarin...however, a bigger problem with red bull is mixing it with drugs, particularly extasy. a lot of kids think that as long as you're not mixing alcohol with e it's ok...but red bull heightens the effects to very dangerous levels. of course, if you're doing e (particularly without knowing how it affects you) any danger from red bull is probably inconsequential.

she's right...the red bull increases blood pressure and for some it's too much..therefore it leads to heart attacks...
