things happen, no one is perfect.

i would assume contacting support rather than posting on gfy would be the logical first step, wouldnt you?

Since you couldnt tell from my previous post i have already contracted them, I h ave ICQ's into mike and sagi, along with a couple of voice messages left with sagi as well.

Now this idiot on ICQ is telling me its a Network Issue when it looks like anything BUT.

I'm not going into the other shit which happened with them tonight because of their carelessness.. the main goal of this thread you idiot was to see if anyone else OTHER THAN ME was down as well.

That would be a problem on the virtual host, my server is humming nicely.

they have sucked since i started with them...I gave them a chance and now they have failed

been with them 2 months now and constantly had problems

sql errors constantly, and even after they switched our virtual, it is still happening

nothing like launching an ecommerce site and having it die in the same hour the press release goes live

so far in the past 7 days we have had AT LEAST 24 hour of downtime.

moving to new host tomorrow..

Since you want to push this issue you fucking asshole you want to know exactly what put me into such a shitty mood with webair tonight?

It's the fact they went and rebooted my UNMANAGED server. Now because of their carelessness with rebooting my server i have lost a hard drive which contained my data. I never requested a reboot, and this isnt a managed server. ATLEAST FUCKING CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU GO AHEAD FUCKING WITH MY SHIT.

My server was UNMANAGED, if i fucking wanted idiots pushing my reset button i would have asked for a reboot.. how is that for fucking support.

immediately running to the boards to start drama about a tech issue is probably a little hasty. they DO have a 24/7 tech line: 1.866.932.2471

and when I try and contact support EVERY time, they give a generic "we're working on the problem, should be up shortly" repsonse

I went to the board to ask a question, which was whether others were having issues when i was being told that others were and it clearly looked like it was only me.

It is you who started the drama you fucking moron.

webairtech2: 20-30 minutes ago
webairtech2: maybe a little longer
you: and what exactly are these "network issues"
you: hello
you: other people are not down
you: and im starting to get pissed
you: sagi has yet to return my calls
you: hello
you: is it too much to ask that i be i nformed of things which are hurting my business?

20 mins later i'm still waiting for a response.

Webair owns.

The only host I've used so far that hasn't sucked complete ass. Want suckass? Try out velcom. SQL server was down for 2 weeks straight.

additionally, webairs support is four star. i assume the reason they arent chatting with you on icq every three seconds is because they are maybe FIXING THE ISSUE?

relax

i have 2 hosts right now

1 has been down 2-3 times in less than 2 weeks without being up within 2 hours, and barely any sincere apologies

the other has NEVER gone down, not once...

i am running a basic ecommerce site with sql database...

Is that why they went ahead and fucked with my shit without contacting me first? Is that why i have a failed hard drive? Is that why HostedContent.com has been down over 4 hours now? Because of their exceptional support?

This is honestly my first time ever having to use webair's support and as you can tell im not too happy.

Actually, you should be blaming the people who cause my hard drive failure by rebooting my server. I had 120 days + of uptime, only rebooted before that for a cvs update, so fuck you bitch.

And Sly is right, you do sound like those likewhoa guys.. too bad you werent promoting them as you would have done exceptionally well right down to the last mbit/sec of bandwidth they had left.

Somtimes shit happens so I would say give them a chance, maybe ask for a free month or a reduced bill next moth. I hear they are decent and I just poked at thier connections a bit and the global connectivity looks pretty solid (except to some areas in the far east; as if anyone would give a shit) and thier connectivity to europe is slightly better than the provider I use.

But damn jim just made this thread retarded and drew more negtive attention twards webair.

funny thing is, i have racked up so many free months from their incompetence, i don't have to pay for a while

I was talking to the guy who started the thread, in your case I would have to ask why you stuck around if you were getting fucked so badly?

Do you still have the server? If so.... why would you stick with a company that you hate so much?

I've never used them becasue they seem a bit pricey so I can't comment one way or the other.

To be honest i haven't had a problem with them have some sites hosted virtual..when it's all said and done you hardly see threads made about them concerning downtime or other problems

At least someone is being reasonable here and sees the post for what it was. I never wanted to flame webair as they have (like i said before) exceptional up until tonight when basically everything fell apart.

Part of my anger comes from losing the drive, which sagi did get me back up and running on a new machine however, here i am trying to get my shit back up and see what data is lost and no more than 30 mins later the machine goes down.

Do you still have the server? If so.... why would you stick with a company that you hate so much?

I've never used them becasue they seem a bit pricey so I can't comment one way or the other.
cause the site was not officially live until 2 weeks ago.....and I was giving the "best hosting company" a chance before I jetted

It looks as if there is a denial of service (DOS) attack on one of our virtual server clusters. We are currently isolating and blocking out the problem IP's. Issue should be resolved shortly.

We will gladly credit any client effected please feel free to contact me privately to discuss further.
