Actually if you MUST let it grow back I recommend that you start using a beard trimmer on the shortest setting, it will soften up after a few showers and she will not be able to tell that you haven't shaved. Never itches either.

after you shave a body part it is a good idea to put some oil on it, like maybe Baby Oil or something like that, takes away the irritation.
