25% 9/11 fee! Holy shit!

I bought 2 tickets to Cancun last week for Webmaster Access. I was all stoked because I saved $200 per ticket for leaving Monday instead of Sunday, so about $800 total versus $1,200 total. I was just looking over my billing statement and flight confirmation information, my card was charged $1,050 instead of $800.

So I'm confused as all hell. Looking over my receipt, there's a $200 9/11 security fee! $200 for a $800 purchase! That's 25%!

I fly 4-5 times a year and have never noticed a fee this high. Is it because I'm going to a different country? Argh!

Flight attendant better search me REEAALL good, if you know what I mean...

Yeah all that money is being sent to Cheney and Bush for their re-election campaign.

On another note, I head Halliburton supplies all oil to the major airlines!!

Ahh yes, George Bush is using that $200 to protect your freedom to live in fear and censorship under the iron fist of a Christian dictatorship.

That's very weird, $200 for extra security?
Anyway, from San Diego to Cancun even $400 is a bit expensive!

you have got to be kidding me. 9-11 security fee? wtf?

i fly international about every other month and have yet to see this.

i hate all this new security. stick my on the freakin' plane and i will take my chances like a big boy. the odds of them using another plane are really low, and if they do hijack one, with all the security... let them do what the hell that want with it because we are a bunch of dumb fucks for not catching them.

"life goes on until it doesn't."

can't believe they charge you extra for security that they should have been providing all along.

What more can us lowly consumers do to appease the almighty corporate gods that see fit to bless us with things like unemployment, and pollution.

Thank you airlines, for making us pay through the nose for your own gross inefficiencies.
