well i was wanting to get started with stocks and stuff but where is a good place to begin? reccomended reading? etc? websites? point me in the right direction. also how much $ does it really take to put in to get off to a good start... help me.

If you really want to learn,,,take an intership at local brokerage firm. The best way to learn someting new is from the inside out.
