I have to disagree with that. I cheated once about 11 years ago. We were having problems and it's not something I'm proud of. She told me once that someday, the tables will be turned. Sure enough, I fell in love a few years later. I loved her with all my heart. She said she loved me to. She said all the right things. In a million years I never would have thought she would cheat on me. But, she did, over and over again.

When I cheated, I new it was mistake. I lost someone very special over it. I knew I would never cheat again. And I never did, but, it wasn't till I had it come back to me ten times worse that I truly understood what a low life, fucked up thing cheating is.

If someone cheats on you they're probably gonna do it again. Lessons have to be learned and sometimes the hard way. Until they learn it, they haven't changed no matter what they say.

And just because she was the town whore doesn't mean that she is still today. People can change. But they have to want to. You can't make them, you can't help them, they have to do it and learn it on their own.
