Dot_US Domains - GoFuckYourself.com

Will these things ever be worth building a site for? I have found a couple really nice single word domains that fit a couple projects that I'm working on, but I really do not think they will fly with a .US domain....any thoughts

If it is a really good domain go for it. However,I hate seeing .us. Whenever I see it I think some crappy spam site, and I think for a surfer it would be similar.

Dot com rules, but I thunk dot us is starting to gain acceptance. Plus it is easier to get good keyword combos and brandable names under dot us.

You will probably lose some traffic to the dot com version of your domain though.

It is better then it-is-really-good-domain.com. It is just my opinion.
