    Working From Home

    OK guys, I am a week into working from home so far I think I am holding out well though often I find myself either talking to the pot plant or working stupid amounts of hours.........

    Can anyone else relate to this, the weekend is near so I get to leave the house for few hours ;-)

                      One advantage is rolling out of bed and deciding if you are going to play hookie or not by discussing it with your boss... Another is the short commute to work.

                      One thing I don't like is people having links in their sigs with no _blank targets, fags!

                                                      yup I've worked out of my home for a year and a half. It is nice to have my laptop on my nightstand and my PC 4 feet from my bed. I normally don't get out of bed for 2-3 hours after waking up and on hangover days it's even longer.

                                                          I'm been working from home for about 7 years. Probably would be crazy if it weren't for the martial arts and my insatiable flirty nature.

                                                              I have worked at home so long now that I don't ever want to go back to an office...luckily my husband is here all day too so if I want to talk to someone I can.

                                                                          Get a dog or a girl... been doing it for 4 yrs, boring as hell. Trust me, you'll get board of going to the mall, movies, watching tv etc. Get a hobby, you'll need it. I even joined a class last semester but dropped it cause I didn't wanna do the work, already have my degree.

                                                                                  I watch the people in my development bounce for work in the morning and just wonder why more folks just dont work from home.

                                                                                      I quit my job 20 months ago now and have worked at home ever since. I knew I could make good $$ from working on porn full time (had been doing porn during my spare time for about a year).

                                                                                      The first 3 months were really hard, I got lonely and was stressed out as the $$ werent starting to come as fast as I hoped.

                                                                                      After 6 months or so I got to know a lot af webmasters and we hook up weekly for food and ale, and things started to get really good. Also, the $$ came flooding in faster than my wildest dreams.

                                                                                      Since then, my wife has quit work and works part time with me, we live in a million dollar house with views of Sydney harbour, I drive a lovely convertible and she drives an SUV. We also had a 3 month vacation in Europe.

                                                                                      Before that we were struggling in a 2 bed appartment, and shared a car, and we both worked full time.

                                                                                      Our first child was born 11th Jan and now I can watch him grow up every day as I can work when I want.

                                                                                      THE best thing I ever did was quit and work full time from home. Its not been easy, and I have worked REALLY hard, just like I did at my job) but the $$ rewards are fantastic.

                                                                                      I would NEVER go back to a full time job

                                                                                          I got a dog (forces me to get out the house to walk him twice a day, works wonders), take taekwondo classes and got a big screen tv... they all helped alot to break the boredom -- also I make sure to go out every Friday and Saturday night with my 9to5 friends...

                                                                                          any time I think "working from home is so boring" I just think back to how miserable I was when I was owned by a corporation... that makes me remember how lucky I am to have so much freedom now
