Designers, I got a question for ya
I'm having a problem. Maybe some of you already found a solution. Give me your feedback on this:
I'm sick and tired of this damn 21' CRT screen on my desk. It takes way too much space. Are there any good LCD solutions out there so far? QuaShe, what do you use? ![]() |

btw, allthough the one I use now was pretty low budget when I bought it it shows me the same results as on my old 17 inch CRT colorwise.

I've used the SGI 1600sw and it showed color like my CRT also the same for the SGI 180FP, the 1600sw was $2800 and the 180 is/was around $1200-1500.

I use a 19'' CRT and it works fine for me. I don't like LCD screens.

probably the best all-around lcd for resolution, price and quality is the new samsung 21" or whatever that actually does 1600x1200, runs about $1300, and you can actually use it for games from what i hear.
but as far as res and stuff goes, a decent 21" crt will outdo an lcd. a badass one is the samsung 241mp, about $2700, not sure how its colors are tho. i can barely stand 1600x1200, don't know how people work with less
