ebuyer is too expensive. I know there must be a place where I can buy those cheap little crap cams for under $5 a piece. At 5000, I wouldn't want to pay more than $1.50 a piece...Comment

I do, that's why I said you're crazy if you think you can get them for $1.50 each. Point me to a place where you can even buy new webcams for $5 each like you suggested, because I've never seen it. A bottom of the line webcam retails for about $15, carries a profit margin of about $3 to $4 at a place like Wal-Mart who buys in such bulk that they get the lowest possible price many times because they are so large they bypass distributors and buy direct. Wal-Mart is 3rd in line... your looking at quite a bit of fat on those prices. I am looking for a cheap little cam out of china. The materials involved to build one costs no more than .50 cents. Labor is around .05 a piece. I am not looking for the fancy packaged store bought web cams; I am looking for the ?brown bag? variety. best bet is to start calling some of the suppliers in city of industry and find someone who imports them directly from china and can order you a few thousand cases.Comment
