With all webmasters spending money on advertising there comes a point where it is just a waste of money...
I'll bet you there isn't 1 big webmaster that wouldn't like to take back some of the 10's of thousands of dollars waisted on those stupid fucken parties. So, most of the banners on sig space everyone already knows If they were good programs word would get around. |

Howard, $8,000 is chump pocket change to the players here who are buying a couple sigs at that price. To EscortBiz that's not even pocket money, more like a couple pennies sitting on the floor.
Its a write off since its advertising. They get the media event pr out of it. And there are side deals on some of the sig transactions that go over $1k. You get a ton of page views, can't just look at the post count. Only a couple guys will be lucky to pull the media event sales. You can't have a dozen doing that or it loses its effect and value as a one of kind thing. |

Yeah, the whole sig buying thing seems absurd to me because you appear to be working for or pushing a program you possibly have no interest in or info about. However, I do see the reasoning behind it. You buy sig space from someone with a decent post count and a rep whose posts get a lot of views that are certain to turn into some good sign ups. Worth a shot to those looking for advertising that's innovative. It is about whatever works and it looks like its working, whether it be long or short term.
