Yep. I'm getting a lot of an email with 'hi' in the subject and a small file (virus) attached.

Yeh, its a massive virus flood. I've gotten about 30 of them in the past hour.

i gave up with Outlook XP, got spammed with more than 15K of spams. Personally, try Netscape 7.1 Mail client, you wont be looking for another mail program, intelligent with its own built in Spam/Junk features. say Goodbye to SPAMS

this one is a little different though, my personal non-spam email address has been getting them, but my usual spam filled email addresses haven't

It's coming from people who arn't using Virus protection and are actually opening attachments from people they have no clue about.
